“Note a margine” è un racconto musicale narrato da Nicola Piovani con l’aiuto di tre strumenti che agiscono in scena.
Presentato per la prima volta durante il Festival di Cannes con il titolo ” Lecon concert”, lo spettacolo racconta al pubblico il tragitto e la ricerca poetica del compositore durante il lavoro con registi come Fellini, i fratelli Taviani, Benigni, Bigas Luna, suggerendo immaginarie stazioni di un viaggio musicale in libertà.
In questo racconto teatrale la musica arriva dove la parola non sa e non può arrivare, perchè, come ha sottolineato Piovani, “non ricordo un solo momento della mia vita in cui non ci sia stata la musica”.
